FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Why do we constantly experience network problems?

We have found that networks which experience continuous problems were either not maintained on a regular basis or were often maintained by technicians that band aide problems rather than resolve them. The end result is that over time the network becomes more and more unreliable. All too often we are finding that network technicians do not have a full understanding of the network operating system and make configuration settings that can greatly reduce the efficiency and security of a network.

How do we know if our network company is managing our network correctly?

Answer these two questions.

1. Does your network continue to have recurring problems? Network issues can crop up from time to time and that can be expected. However, if you are continually experiencing network delays, connectivity and printing issues it may be due to the design and configuration of your network. This will not be solved unless configuration issues are identified and made.

2. Is your network fully documented? Every company should have a project book that documents their network. The project book must contain a network topology map, IP scheme, configuration settings such as DNS, gateway IP addresses and much more. It is a living document that changes as your network changes, so you always have the most current information about your network. This enables an easy transition for any network technician to be able to manage your network.

If you don’t have a project book that contains this information then you should consider changing your network vendor.

What makes your company different?

We guarantee all our work. If we don’t fix a problem then we don’t charge you for the work on that problem. However, that has never happened. We also don’t make you sign a contract. This way the onus is on us to make sure that you are a satisfied customer. All of this makes us a company worth keeping. We will solve all of your problems and if we don’t live up to our claim and your expectations, then you are free to get rid of us at any time. However, we make sure that does not happen because we make sure you are a satisfied customer.
